Michalina Almindo went from a car sales person to Business Manager for the Automobile industry in record time. After managing several dealerships, she gave it up to pursue her dreams of becoming an actress. Since that time, she has had lead and small roles in man feature films and television. While pursuing her passion for acting, she has not left her business roots behind.
Over the eight years in the business, she has done everything from acting in films to casting them. She is a business advisor for the Sande Shurin Acting Studio in NYC and manages Sande Shurin's Actors Studio and Retreat in Woodstock, NY.
Aftermath was directed by Thomas Farone and starred Chris Penn, Anthony Michael Hall, and Elizabeth Rohm. Michalina was one of the producters and played the role of Roxy.
Jury Prize winner Nate Dogg won best debut feature film at the Raindance Film Festival in 2003.
Currently, Michaelina has completed her first short that she produced as well as co-wrote and directed, titled Tempting God...Tricking the Devil - soon to be on the festival circuit. She also has two additional feature films in development with name talent attached that she will produce and also act in.
After producing several plays and independent films, she has been able to use her keen business sense and artistic ability to continiue to move forward in the entertainment industry.
