MEETINGS WITH CASTING PROFESSIONALS:
From
time to time we will be having industry professionals coming to talk to
and critique actors monologues or scenes. There will also be a short
"get together" with wine and cheese after the critiquing so that
you may personally get to know the industry professionals. The
evening will run about 3 hours.
The
first of the series will be on Tuesday April 23rd with filmmaker team
Don & Katha Kato (bemyoswald.com) and filmmaker Robert Margolis
(definitionofinsanity.com).

The Two-Day Professional Intensive
The
first day (Saturday) of this intensive gives the advanced actor the
entire fundamental course of Transformational Acting in this one day.
The 2nd day is translating The Shurin Technique, Transformational
Acting, on camera for film. This entire two day intensive is taught by
Ms. Shurin.
The advanced actor needs to take this workshop in order to go into ongoing classes.

help you get there. This two day workshop takes place at our country
retreat in Woodstock, NY and includes sleeping accommodations and
seasonal use of our saltwater pool

Woodstock Full Week Summer Retreat
Sunday evening July 27th through Saturday Evening August 2nd.
This is a very powerful week-long actors retreat.
Monday
thru Friday the days include Sande Shurin teaching a technique class
which gives a powerful opening into her technique
Transformational Acting. in another segment she teaches on
camera film
and audition
technique. Yoga for actors is taught by the New York Intregal
Yoga
instructor, Anitra Frazier. We will have Katha Kato, award winning
improvisational instructor teaching her magic and we
usually have one or two surprise guests. The last weekend (August 1-2)
Sande will be
giving the powerful Break-Thru Acting Workshop. There is a
large break between 3:00 and 6:00pm, where guests can swim in our
salt-water pool, walk into the famous musical/artistic town of
Woodstock, hike in the woods, or
just relax until the BBQ main meal (Great Food).
The cost
includes accommodations, shared use of beautiful country kitchen and
living room, most food and all the classes.
$1,295.00 for the full week.
